The tyres on your car play a vital role in driver safety. The critical area of a tyre that keeps your car in contact with the road is no bigger than the palm of your hand, but it could be the difference between keeping you and your passengers safe, or something much worse. Church Hill Motors, located in Sutton, supplies a choice of premium and quality branded tyres which tie in flexibly with the individual budgets of our South West London and Surrey customers.
Unlike some car garages in the surrounding Banstead, Carshalton, Cheam, Morden and Worcester Park areas, we never sell part-worn tyres. Your safety and wellbeing are far too important to us to make compromises.
Premium branded tyres come from industry-leading manufacturers you already know, such as Dunlop, Goodyear, Michelin and Pirelli. It may surprise you to find our quality branded tyres, while lower in price, also come from the biggest names in our sector. Avon, Cooper, Firestone and Yokohama are all quality tyre brands.
Our Sutton workshop can also source safety-tested budget tyres on request.
Some independent car garages and fast-fit centres in Banstead, Carshalton, Cheam, Morden and Worcester Park charge separately for fitting your tyres. We don’t. Church Hill Motors charges one inclusive price to supply, weight, balance and fit new tyres. The figure we quote is the figure you pay and never a penny more. We take price as seriously as we take road safety, always treating you with the appropriate degrees of fairness, transparency and respect.
The tyres on your car have four important functions:
1.6mm or more of tread keeps you safe on the road and all tyres supplied by our Sutton workshop have a minimum tread of 7mm when fitted. Drive with tyres below the legal limit and, for each one found, you could face a fine of up to £2,500.00 and have 3 points added to your license.
Sudden braking on worn tyres close to the legal limit significantly increases the chances of having an accident and this is something we’d never want for our valued Banstead, Carshalton, Cheam, Morden and Worcester Park customers. Tyre tread becomes even more important in wet driving conditions because wear contributes to around 10% of accidents during periods of heavy rainfall.
Keep safe, be safe and drive safe with a personal fitting from Church Hill Motors of Sutton, and always drive with tyres that exceed the minimum legal tread limit.
